Our curriculum and learning intentions

In 2023 we developed our own curriculum to use alongside our child-led approach. This curriculum outlines our teaching aims and what we typically expect children to achieve within each age range as they progress through our different rooms.

Our curriculum is used alongside the Hygge Wanderlust Nature Study programme. We strive to provide lots of opportunities for skill development, sensory exploration, curiosity about the natural world, and promoting independence!

Our curriculum has been developed by our Early Years graduate-led team in line with government guidance. We take inspiration from the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches.
