The ‘Royal Wedding Celebrations’

Hello Every one,

I just wanted to say a big ‘thankyou’ to every one who helped us celebrate the royal wedding in such a fantastic way, every one had a great time and it was lovely to see so many parents joining in and looking very smart!

The children all throughly enjoyed the whole thing, talking about Kate and William, getting excited about dressing up and going to the church and of course about the party afterwards!

The whole thing went really well and we are looking forward to celebrating again with a ‘Royal Christening’!

I hope every one has been able to see the local magazine article? we do have a copy at preschool if you haven’t. I have also attached a copy on here for you to look at.

Again THANK YOU all so much for your continued support.

March Newsletter

Dear Parents,
It has become apparent of late that we need to increase our fee’s, this is due to a number of factors one of which is currently the rise in economics I’m afraid, which is having an impact on us all, this therefore means that as from the beginning of next term our fee’s will increase by 50pence per session.

  • Am session 9-12   – £8.00
  • Lunch club £2.50
  • Pm session 12 – 3pm £8.00
  • Pm session 1-3pm £7.00
  • 9am – 3pm – £18.50

Healthy snack donation will be 30pence per day.

We hope you can appreciate the need to increase our fees and note that the increase is minimal. It is also necessary to remind some parents that fee’s need to be paid on time. We will be introducing a late payment fee if this continues & your child’s place could be offered to someone else.

Next week we would like the children to bring in an ‘old’ pair of pants which we can use in our ‘Outer space’ project.

The week after we would like them all to bring in an empty egg box which they can decorate ready for our Easter egg hunt.

We break up for Easter on Friday 8th April at 12 (no lunch club). This is when we will be holding our Easter egg Hunt, where all children are invited along with parents, grandparents etc… Afterwards we would like you to join us in the community centre for tea & coffee, (there will also be a raffle).

Children who have had their third birthday this term are eligible for funding next term, however with Easter being so late the funding actually starts on April the 1st!!! So you need to speak to myself or Lisa if you want your changes in sessions to start before the Easter break.

We will also be celebrating the Royal Wedding at Preschool on Thursday 28th April, again this will be open to all children & parents. WHATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE INFO!

Finally…. the children have all thoroughly enjoy our ‘Living eggs’ project, this was as i said expensive but something which the children have learned a lot from. The chickens have how taken up residency at my house & hopefully they will go on to produce eggs which can be sold to raise further funds.

Thank you for your continued support.

Jennifer
